Students from Srečko Kosovel Primary School Sežana, Slovenia, were taught how to make a fire in the forest. In winter time it is difficult to find dry branches that would burn.
Kids went into the forest to collect some dry wood and find the material to make a fire.
Thin branches were covered with the thicker ones and put into the shape of a pyramid. The teacher who taught them how to light a fire, gave them only three matches. Within the three possibilities they managed to burn the fire.
Everyone was happy with the result and at the end kids even made themselves something to eat. Sausages, prepared on the open fire, were delicious!
